Isle of Harris 1
Images of the Isle of Harris in the Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Sielebost and Luskentire are situated on the edge of a large tidal bay. It is fascinating to watch the changes in the scenery as the tide comes in and out and as the weather changes. It is a mgical place.
Luskentyre Bay
The colour of the sea on the west side of Harris is quite unbelieveable. Many people think the colour is false. I presume it is the quality and clearness of the light. You just have to experince it. There are tidal chanels as the water comes in and out that give the opportunity to capture lovely shapes.
